Things sure have changed since I was pregnant with my daughter over 25 years ago. I thought back then, that the tiny little black and white picture of a mostly ?unrecognizable blob? that I was given after an ultrasound was the coolest thing in the world! My husband and I would stare at that photo, trying to see the ?outline of our baby? that the ultrasound tech seemed to think was clear as day! Today?s technology is way different, you can now see detailed face of your baby in 3D, and a new fad has expectant parents inviting family & friends over for an ?Ultrasound Home Party??

Some women across the country are hosting parties while they have an ultrasound performed! Thanks to improved ultrasound technology, and the ability to bring the machines in-home, parents-to-be can now invite friends and family to share in an intimate viewing of baby in utero. It is the new frontier in pregnancy over sharing! Just don?t confuse the ultrasound jelly with the cocktails and appetizers!
